everybody loves cake

I'm in a sweet mood this evening.

I've been looking at photograph's of beautiful cakes for the past hour or so.

These are some of my favourites.

I really feel like baking (and eating!) a cake now.

What's your favourite cake?

Mine is definitely chocolate. No flour. High quality dark chocolate. A bit crumbly on the top. Dense and delicious on the inside.

    but i did try my hand at gingerbread (a cake-like version) a couple of weeks ago and did a brilliant job! for lovely cakes in perth you have to go to sherbet in maylands. delicious.

  2. Chocolat cake is my favorite, but clafoutis has a special place in my heart. Maybe it's because I wait for the ripe cherries all year.
